BadSeed Tech edition
Brian of BadSeed Tech reviews high-end hardware with a minimalist eye and an analytical one, and this is the mouse he specified with Pulsar: the X2H CrazyLight with strategic base cut-outs under a solid top shell, so the weight comes down without the shell flexing. Finished in his signature muted palette.
Shape
Symmetrical with a high back and a narrow waist. The high hump fills more of the palm; the narrow waist lets the fingers sit close for precise control.
Best under a claw or relaxed claw grip. Palm-claw players who find the X2 too flat usually land here.
Where the grams went
The CrazyLight shell is more frame than case: the base is cut away wherever it carries no load, and the weight on the spec panel is measured on dot skates, which put the smallest contact patch of any option on the pad. Together they are why it feels looser than the number alone suggests.
