The Superglide 3 is Pulsar's glass pad: aluminosilicate glass on a full silicone base, with the corners and edges rounded so the arm never catches.

Feel

Faster and more consistent than cloth, with a refined surface texture that glides smoothly without feeling loose. The larger corner radius and softly rounded edge are what changed for version 3: the wrist and forearm move over them rather than into them.

Aluminosilicate glass

The chemically strengthened glass used in phone screens: an ion-exchange process hardens the outer surface against scratches, pressure and impact, so the texture stays the same for years rather than months.

Silicone under the whole pad, not just the corners, so it grips the desk everywhere and cannot flex in the middle.
